It was a beautiful day for a Post 3063 picnic at Lake Serene on Aug. 20! Thank you to the Seeligs for hosting and congrats to our ladder ball and corn hole tournament winners: Harold (twice!), Joe K. and Aly.

Spaghetti Fundraiser set for October 22

Save the date — our annual Spaghetti Fundraiser is Saturday, Oct. 22, 2022. Tickets are available to purchase online at our Bidding Owl site or at the post during business hours. We will also host an online auction from noon Friday, Oct. 21 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 23. The money raised will go to the VFW Post 3063 Relief Fund.

HIPP HIPP HIPP HURRA! Syttende Mai Parade

Comrades, family and friends represented Post 3063 for the first time in many years at Ballard’s annual Syttende Mai parade on May 17. They received a very warm reception from the crowd and some of us had fun waving to family and friend spectators. It was a wonderful community event and we plan on participating again next year.
