Seattle Civic Band Sponsoring Concert for Veterans

Join us Thursday, Nov. 10 at 7:30 p.m. for a free concert honoring those who have served our country in the United States’ Armed Forces. All ages are welcome. Any donations will benefit the Ballard Eagleson Post 3063 Relief Fund.

Spaghetti Fundraiser a Big Success

Many hours of work paid off for VFW Post 3063 volunteers during the VFW Post 3063 Annual Spaghetti Dinner and Fundraiser, Oct. 22, 2022. The annual spaghetti fundraiser, which has been held at the post hall for a number of years, brought in thousands of dollars (we’re still tabulating the proceeds). The net proceeds will be deposited in the Post Relief Fund, which benefits a variety of causes, from local veterans in need — including those at the Seattle VA hospital — to the VFW’s National Home for Children. The post hall was full of members, families, and friends enjoying each other’s company. Children were welcome at the event and were anxious to win the kid-themed raffle prizes. Thank you to all who attended and come again next year!

It was a beautiful day for a Post 3063 picnic at Lake Serene on Aug. 20! Thank you to the Seeligs for hosting and congrats to our ladder ball and corn hole tournament winners: Harold (twice!), Joe K. and Aly.

Spaghetti Fundraiser set for October 22

Save the date — our annual Spaghetti Fundraiser is Saturday, Oct. 22, 2022. Tickets are available to purchase online at our Bidding Owl site or at the post during business hours. We will also host an online auction from noon Friday, Oct. 21 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 23. The money raised will go to the VFW Post 3063 Relief Fund.
