We look forward to celebrating with you and spreading holiday joy at this wonderful annual tradition!

In comradeship,

Veterans Day Recap

A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who joined us for our Veterans Day Open House. We had an amazing turnout and it was incredible to see our community come together to honor our veterans. Special thanks to World War II veteran and Post 3063 member Clarence Rankins Jr., Councilmember Dan Strauss, and Maj. Gen. Jimmy Collins for helping make the day even more memorable. Weā€™re also grateful for the support of theĀ Washington National Guard‘s 181st Brigade Support Battalion,Ā King County Veterans Program,Ā Troops 100 & 8100 Seattle, and all our friends, family, and neighbors. Your presence made this day truly unforgettable. Special shoutout to our volunteers who made the event so successful, from the burger burn to clean-up.

Wall of Heroes: Clarence Rankins Jr.

From theĀ VA Puget Sound: “Leaders from VA Puget Sound, Madigan Army Medical Center, Washington Department of Veteran Affairs, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3063 and Washingtonā€™s 7th congressional district honor VA Puget Sound’s 2024 Wall of Heroes Inductee, 100-year-old U.S. Army Technician 5th Grade Clarence Rankins Jr. (at lectern), during our annual Veterans Day event. Rankinsā€™s daughter-in-law also shared a heartfelt tribute to her ā€œdadā€ that made us smile and occasionally laugh out loud.”
