On July 2 students from the Navy National Defense Cadet Corps class at New Market Skills Center (Tumwater School District) helped disassemble around 50 unserviceable flags that were dropped off at Post 3063. They were recycled through one of the Seattle Public Utilities Threadcycle partners. Comrade Teeter also led the students in a lesson on flag etiquite, the mission of the VFW and military service.
